IF STEEL CARGOES ARE LOADED OWNERS MAY ARRANGE FOR PRE-SHIPMENT AND OUTTURN
SURVEY OF SUCH CARGOES TO BE HELD BY OWNERS P&I CLUB REPRESENTATIVES. COST OF
SUCH SURVEYS TO BE FOR CHARTERERS ACCOUNT. UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES THE BILLS OF   LADINGS TO BE IN STRICT CONFORMITY AND COMPLIANCE WITH MATE’S RECEIPTS. ALL
REMARKS IN THE BILLS OF LADINGS TO BE QUANTIFIED AND QUALIFIED AND NO SUCH WORDS
AS”SOME” OR “ANY” TO BE USED. VESSEL WILL NOT TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TIME AND
EXPENSES ARISING FROM SHIPPERS AND/OR CHARTS’ REFUSAL TO SIGN B/L AS PER THIS
CLAUSE. IN SUCH CASE REFUSAL VESSEL TO REMAIN ON-HIRE. THESE REMARKS WILL MIRROR  THE CONDITION OF THE CARGO AND WILL BE HARMONIZED WITH PANDI SURVEYOR’S FINDINGS.
NO CALIFORNIA BLOCK STOW ALLOWED. STEEL CARGOES TO BE LOADED ALWAYS IN COMFORMITY  WITH VESSEL’S TANK TOP STRENGTHS. CHARTERERS AT THEIR TIME AND EXPENSE TO APPOINT  LOCAL SURVEYOR/SUPERCARGO AT LOADPORT, WHO IS TO GIVE ASSISTANCE/ADVISE TO THE  MASTER DURING LOADING OPERATION. IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT OF ANY PROBLEMS EN ROUTE   TO DISCHARGE PORT(S) INVOLVING CARGO SHIFTING, OR BECOME UNSECURE/UNSTABLE, IT IS  CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD THAT THE MASTER HAS THE RIGHT TO DEVIATE TO A NEARBY  PORT/PLACE WHICH MASTER THINKS IS APPROPRIATE CHARTS TO PROVIDE AT THEIR TIME AND EXPENSES, ALL LASHINGS/SECURING/DUNNAGE MATERIALS ETC NEEDED, TO MASTER AND CLASS  SATISFACTION. ALL REMOVAL OF LASHING MATERIALS/DUNNAGE/DEBRIS ETC TO BE DONE BY  CHARTS AT THEIR TIME AND EXPENSE.
ALL WELDING OF PADEYES ETC TO BE DONE IN CHARTS’ TIME N EXPENSE, UNDER THE
SUPERVISION OF THE MASTER AND CLASS.DE-WELDING OF PADEYES AND RESTORING VSL TO
HER ORIGINAL STATE TO BE DONE BY CHARTS AT THEIR TIME N EXPENSE AND TO MASTER AND  CLASS SATISFACTION.
